Keith Brymer Jones
Keith met Darren and Sarah in 2016 while filming The Great Pottery Throw Down in Stoke. Darren invited him to create an art installation to celebrate the workforce of Spode (Absent Tribe). As they worked together on the project, it became clear that Darren’s enthusiasm for extolling Stoke’s rich manufacturing history was infectious.
While collaborating on Absent Tribe, it was evident to Keith that Centre Space Arts (CSA) was more than just a vehicle for recording the history of Stoke. It also looked to the future, encouraging and exhibiting work for a wide spectrum of artists in and around the city. CSA’s practical and detailed approach highlighted the incredibly creative work being produced in the local area. Its wide range of in-house skills—from photography to marketing and even management—made it the perfect partner to enhance any artist's work, giving it the time and respect needed to reach a wider public audience.
