Traindeer

Traindeer is Steven Stones, an artist and musician from Shavington on the South Cheshire/Staffordshire border.
His music is a mix of found sounds, field recordings, vintage computers, vinyl samples, tape loops and synthesis all brought together to create a fusion of ambient, textural and chiptune sounds over a foundation of breakbeats and deep bass. All of these elements are played and processed live through a hybrid setup using Ableton Live, a modular synthesizer and a 4 track tape recorder.
Steven also runs DecadeBridge. DecadeBridge creates, develops and builds electronic instruments and audio software for music production some of which frequent his live Traindeer project.
