A Change-up of the Routine

This week has been something of a slightly unusual week but it's has been so much fun and really has solidified a lot of exciting plans we've got coming together.
We'll start by saying that everyone has felt a bit weird this week, Bank holiday Mondays always throw everyone. The week feels longer and shorter; like you're a day behind and it really throws everything out of sync, while playing catch up but it's still been a really productive week and a positive one at that.
Grumpy's Car & Bike Event
Over the Easter weekend, we found out from a subject of the Stoke, Everyday project that there was a fun event happening in Longport.
We had the joy of meeting the organisers of the event, it was a beautiful car and bike show, full of classic American cars, incredible bikes and very cool stories from equally cool people.
The organisers also happen to be the owners of the pub that run the event, the pub is simply called Grumpy's.
Russ & Tots are two bikers who got together to create a safe space for people to just enjoy good music, have a drink and keep that sense of community around them.
We are of course, going to be making them and their story part of our photography project, no doubt about it and they're well up for it too, which is even better.

Artisan Tap
So getting to the unusual side of thing, our team has been out quite a few times this week, in the evenings, and it's been great fun.
We went to the Artisan Tap to support a long life friend's band called the British Premonition Bureau, a performance art, meets spoken words, meets pure punk.
While we wee there, we bumps into old artist friends, like Russ & Wedgwood, where we were able to have a proper catch up and share plans for the near future.
Russ and Wedgwood are very interesting surreal artists; we have hosted exhibitions for both of them in the past and we definitely want to bring them in as artists on our projects that are in the works.
We are now looking to teaming up with these old friends again, in our new upcoming plans, which we very much look forward to.
Electric Tentacle
If you haven't seen already, Electric Tentacle are new collaborators, that we are really looking forward to working with, especially for our HD Events
We went to their gig at a place called Captain's Bar; Electric Tentacle is a form on an open mic night that is about electronic and experimental music, people of all abilities and musical tastes can perform
It was incredible to so many different artists playing and they were all backed up with incredible support; it was such a a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.
These artists and these vibes are exactly why we're looking forward to working with these guys and expanding our network into the world of underground electronic music.
Happy Birthday Smithfield
On Thursday, the Smithfield, where our main office is based at, turned 3years old, so it's only seem right to celebrate it with pizza and drinks.
It was also a thank you to previous tenants and welcome new ones too, it was a great vibe all around.
We can't wait to keep growing and working with them on many fun events to come, like our first HD Event next month.
