Last weekend, we had the amazing Sally Kawamura host a workshop at Emmaus, alongside the exhibition, where she was set up with her crafty materials, stickers, pens and glue sticks.
Sally's workshop was all about keeping warm and sharing thoughts as well as tips and tricks to try and stay warm, that come from you the public, to share with the public.
The lovely sketchbooks that the public made are now sitting proudly within the exhibition itself.
We aim to evolve the Living Room installation a little mor each week, by adding photos, art from workshops, blanket, etc, so show that like any home, we're always trying to find new ways and add more to the room to makes it warmer but also feel more homelike.
Also every Wednesday now up until Saturday 21st December, our amazing researcher Clare White will be there with a cup of tea and a spare chair for you to chat with.
Clare is therefor you to talk to, to learn more about the exhibition or even play board game with to pass a bit of time.
Along with Clare popping in on Wednesdays, we have Sally coming back on Saturday 14th with a fun workshop that is about the community coming together and creating a blanket together.
Once the blanket is complete, like the sketch books, will be placed onto the bed of the installation and will become a step closer to completing the exhibition at the end of the month.
