It might feel like we're on the sun but it is still a week with work to be done, we just might be going at a slightly slower pace than normal - and eating more ice cream. Nonetheless it's been a positive and productive week and we've never been so grateful for air con at the Smithfield Works.
STOKE, EVERYDAY
We met some really cool people this week (everyone we've met so far is awesome) and gotten some really greats shots, mainly while cracking up with laughter at a every shoot.
From climbing scaffolding to grand rooms in iconic houses, it’s been full of interesting locations and it's so interesting learning about people's connections with different place around the city.
We have a busy line up next week that we can’t wait to share more about but like I’ve mentioned before if if you'd be interested in getting involved then hit the link here.

TEA PARTY
As I'm sure you’ve seen this week, Stoke-On-Trent has entered the Guinness book of world records for the largest tea party in the world.
Along with many awesome people coming together to do something positive for the city, we wanted to show our support and be a part of a great event that brought people together, s three of us went to represent centre space arts.
It was lovely seeing friends and meeting new ones, while we all had the extremely difficult task of drinking tea and eating scones, what a lovely morning it was.
HD 1.1 PROGRESS
We have released our first official trailer for our August event and if you were at our last one, you might recognise the character in the clip, which we will be introducing properly along with some of her friends shortly.
It’s going to be another evening of awesome people, incredible art and authentic good vibes all around; the work changes but the great atmosphere remains.
We’re still working on a few bits and bobs but we can't wait to showcase some awesome art (all of mediums) from the likes of Lily Healey, DocileStation, Black Lodge, DJ Kelvin Andrews and more!

OF COURSE... THE WEATHER
It’s safe to say everyone is more than aware heat wave we’re currently experiencing and I'll be honest, I’m not even sure how I'm functioning enough to type this out right now.
Here at Centre Space, we sincerely hope that you are doing your best to stay safe, cool and hydrated, especially if you are like our resident “Casper” as our friend Adele jokingly mentioned (honestly she’s not wrong though), so enjoy and keep cool out there and enjoy your weekend!
