Let's Gooo

This week has been consumed by preparing for tonight's one night stand with art. From making sure we get labels printed to ensuring the tech equipment is ready; last minutes posts and the boards being ready to go. We're about as ready as we can be, it's just more about putting our plans into action, which we'll be stating pretty much when this blog first goes out!

Also this evening, there are a myriad of event going on, it's a creative weekend for the city which is awesome, there's the Kwanza Collective at PMAG, Appetite on the Smithfield Estate and the 3 Counties Art Open Awards Evening, and that's just this evening, so there's plenty of time and choice to visit where you want to go!

I know the format of this blog is a little different from normal but it's really just about HD1.1 and I'm also planning on updating this when the event kicks in too, so be on the look out for that. Coming 7pm this evening, more info will be added right here!

Hi! Ok, so I didn't exactly get in this page for 7! Many apologies for that bit in my defense we were all making sure everyone was happy, keeping drinks and food topped up and taking photos all evening.

I just wanted to say quickly on behalf of everyone in the team, thank you so much to everyone who turns up last night, we couldn't have made it happen with you!

From the artists, the supporters, the drop ins and the regulars, it was great to see everyone having a great time and just enjoying an evening of genuine art of all mediums. We just want to spread the creativity and jot of art to far and wide and you lots are helping us to just that, so thank you.

There will be photos uploaded next week, we are going spend a day or two recovering first - and putting the space back together.
