This week has been about a lot of brainstorming and just speaking to people and learning more about their crafts within the creative industry. It's important to take time to speak to people and just get out of the office a little bit.

STOKE, EVERYDAY:

  • We're on a steady roll now and feeling good with the project, we're over half way there now.

  • This week we met few faces and some familiar ones too ,which has been incredible, as the chain reaction of people suggesting other people is exactly what we've been after.

  • From a rock 'n' roll car builder to a wonderfully eccentric artist, it's been amazing getting to meet these different people who make up the city.

YESTERDAY'S TODAYS:

  • So we've been teasing about this project for a while now but don't fret, it's almost here!

  • We have an official time and place to be announced soon for the first official viewing of this immersive archive project.

  • We'll be travelling through Stoke-On-Trent, bouncing from one era to another through surreal visuals, nostalgic adverts and immersive sounds.

MUSIC & VISUALS:

  • Ever since we've started to get to know the different artists that are a part of Electric Tentacle, we've been getting to know them more and really looking into working together in the near future more.

  • For example, this week we visited Steve, a.k.a Traindeer (link about him here) and sitting down and learning more about what he's really does.

  • Darren even got to have a crash course in four track recorders and audio manipulation, as you can tell he was in his element.

  • We look forward to diving into this world head first with this awesome crew and look forward to future plans - keep an eye out for those!
