This week has been a lot of more preparation for next month more than anything, don't worry we'll share more details soon. However, in between we've been meeting quite a few new people this week and got to enjoy a bit of exploring our local landscapes in the process.

STOKE, EVERYDAY

  • This week we’ve spoken to some local legends in the art scene this week as well as some incredible volunteers at that work for an an incredible charity called Canine Concern.

  • Thanks to these shoots being set in locations that are personal to people, we get to discover beautiful little gems within the city, like small green spaces that are perfect to escape to; it’s one of the things our city is lucky to have.

  •  This particular dog based charity was founded in 1988 by Eve Waring, who was aware of the benefits of dogs visiting elderly and lonely.

  • This charity provides care homes, hospitals, work places and schools with dog care visits by incredible volunteers and very sweet, professional dogs (just like the ones we got to meet).

  • We had the pleasure of speaking to Barry & Brambles and Neil & Togo, as they were on their way to their round at the local hospital. We believe that charities like these deserve to be highlighted more and they really do have an infinitely positive impact.

FRIENDS & ASSOCIATES

  • We met and sat down with two interesting artists by the names of Ruby & Sarah, who are based in Leek and like most people in this city, it turns out we share many mutual friends (it's a small city). We look forward to talking more about future collaborations and incredible projects.

  • A lovely associate of ours, Sonya, invited us onto her segment of a radio show, where our founder and "head tea boy” (he gave himself that name) spoke a little about what it’s like crossing business and creativity for the community.
