Workshops & Brainstorms

This week was the first week of our art exhibition for our project Let's Highlight. Again we can't thank people enough who have been helping us to put the work together in time to go live last week.

  • We have photos from the first week of the show being live; we can't wait to see the development of the show through the photos.
  • We have a community sketchbook workshop coming this Saturday from 11am-1pm.
  • Alongside the workshop, Potteries Moneywise will also be there for you to drop in and speak to about any money related worries or issues you may have.

  • The stories we have been collecting are being transformed into interesting data and creative ideas we hope to put into place during the exhibition.
  • Every Wednesday, throughout the show, our excellent researcher Clare will be there along with family friendly crafts and a safe space for you to talk to her, if you wish to, about your experiences (and solutions) that have come from the Cost of Living.

As you can see as well, Operation: Dollhouse, was an absolute success. The brilliant Su Hurrell took the creative designs and planning from the crew of Creative Club (at Middleport Matters) and brought them to life. Don't worry, the Dollhouse will get it's own full section next time, as we believe it deserves it.

On Another Note:
A bunch of artists that we know, have come together to work on an exciting art project next year. We have the privilege of being a part of the journey and celebration, that we will be able to share more about in the upcoming weeks.
