The Blog is Back!

Hey there, that's right after a little end of year break and a slightly manic January, we thought that the beginning of February would be the prefect time to get to working on the beloved blog.

To ease back into things, here's a little look into what we've got planned for this year, most of which are part of our exciting plans for Stoke-On-Trent's 100yr anniversary.
  • Yesterdays Todays: An archive event that has been designed to take you on a wild ride that gives little glimpses into the life of Stoke-On-Trent over the past 100years. This also included personal touches from archive footage/memories from the public that generously let use their footage.

  • Stoke Everyday: We want to highlight the people that truly make Stoke-On-Trent the little gem of kindness and hard workers that it is. Photographers David Fletcher and Sarah Peart will be teaming up to take 100 portraits of people who are part of the S-O-T community, alongside their stories about the their lives in the city.

  • Bomb50: We are working with a founder of a classic local zine that was once the Epitome of independent subculture news in the city. We are helping them to reach their 50th publication and bring it to new life with a fresh take on the zine and make a splash with the celebration and expansion of it.

We also have a new page on our website called The Family and over the next couple of weeks, we'll be sharing a bit about the awesome artists that are on that page, over the socials, so you can what they get up outside of Centre Space Arts.
